Joint Divorce Application Support

$449.00

A simpler way to take the next step together.

If you have both decided to divorce, completing the paperwork does not need to add to an already difficult time. Blue Haven helps make the process more straightforward by preparing your joint divorce application and guiding you through the practical steps involved.

Rather than navigating the application process on your own, you can access support to organise the necessary information, prepare the paperwork and understand what happens next.

The aim is to make the administrative side of divorce clearer and more manageable, so you can move forward with confidence.

What's included?

Your joint divorce application service is designed to include:

  • Information collection: A structured process to gather the information and documents needed from both of you.

  • Application preparation: Preparation of your joint divorce application using the information you provide.

  • Supporting documents: Assistance with identifying and organising the documents required for filing.

  • Review and signatures: Providing the prepared application for both of you to review and complete the required signing steps.

  • Filing support: Assistance with the steps involved in lodging your application through the Commonwealth Courts Portal, subject to the agreed service scope.

  • Next-step guidance: An explanation of what happens after filing and how to access your divorce order once it is made.

How it works

1. Provide your information

Complete the intake process and provide the information and documents needed from both spouses.

2. Your application is prepared

Your joint application is prepared using the information you provide and made available for both of you to review.

3. Review and sign

Both spouses review the application and complete the required signing and witnessing steps.

4. File your application

Once the application and required documents are ready, the filing process can proceed in accordance with the agreed service scope.

5. Know what happens next

You will receive information about the next steps, including the court process and how to access your divorce order.

Service fee

$449 per couple

A one-off professional service fee.

The court filing fee is payable separately. The standard court filing fee is currently $1,170, with a reduced fee of $390 available to eligible applicants, subject to the applicable requirements. For a joint application, both applicants must satisfy the eligibility requirements for the reduced fee.

Is this service right for you?

This service may suit you if:

  • You have both decided to apply for a divorce.

  • You are willing to participate in a joint application.

  • You can both provide the information and documents required.

  • You would prefer assistance with the application paperwork rather than navigating the process entirely on your own.

If you have been separated but living under the same roof, have difficulty obtaining your marriage certificate, or have other circumstances requiring additional documents or specialist advice, additional assistance may be needed.
