Mediation Day Support

$499.00

You don't have to face mediation feeling like you're on your own.

Mediation can be an emotional and challenging experience. You may be discussing important decisions about your children, finances or future, often in circumstances that are already difficult.

Even when you've prepared your information and thought carefully about what you want to achieve, sitting down for mediation can feel daunting. You might be worried about how you'll manage the conversation, stay focused on what's important or cope with the pressure of the day.

Having someone in your corner can make the experience feel more manageable.

The Mediation Support Person service is designed to provide practical and personal support to help you feel more prepared and supported throughout the mediation process.

Drawing on my experience as a former family lawyer, I can help you prepare for the day, talk through your concerns and think about how you want to approach the discussions. Subject to the mediator's approval and the applicable mediation arrangements, I may also be able to attend mediation with you as a support person.

My role is to provide a calm, supportive presence and help you feel more prepared to navigate the experience. I am not there to act as your lawyer, negotiate on your behalf or provide legal advice during mediation.

Because mediation can be difficult enough without feeling like you have to face it alone.

Ideal if you have mediation coming up and would value additional support before and potentially during the day, so you can feel more prepared and less alone throughout the process.
